Author's 'North Coast Poems' comprise roughly 2/3 of this volume. --- Elaborately bound in blue beveled edge cloth-covered boards with gilt and red lettering and decorations, front, rear and spine. With 53 illustrations by T.(homas) and E.(dward) Dalziel and 5 others; all of which were engraved by the Brothers Dalziel. Printed on heavy papers, with all three edges in gilt. --- Volume has noticeable tears to cloth at spine ends, many leaves with foxing. Sticker removal damage to front pastedown. Overall, a tight copy with some magnificent examples of the engraver's art.
