In March 1944 he took command of 144 Canadian Spitfire Wing and in 1945 was promoted Group Captain in command of 125 Spitfire wing until the end of WW2, lightly rubbed at tips and boards a little marked, edges tanned, ink date/name front free endpaper, small sharksfin lower edge pp 33/34, dustwrapper: rubbed with slight loss to extrems. and numerous light creases, light overall soiling, repairs to reverse, good plus in a good dustwrapper,
