The lodge now meets at Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James's Street, London. This is one of the nineteen lodges that have the privilege of nominating each year a member for appointment by the Grand Master as a Grand Steward and is therefore known as a Red Apron Lodge. Members of the Prince of Wales' Lodge are permitted to wear Garter-blue on the interior portion of the edging to their aprons. This honour was given in 1830 to commemorate that at his accession to the throne, King William the Fourth was the Master of the Prince of Wales Lodge." - See National Archives.
