London: John Long, nd.(c.1903). By the author of "The Mystery of a Hansom Cab". Presumed 1st edition due to catalogue of John Long Autumn and New Year announcements 1903-1904 to end of book. Pp.309/6(ads for other publications), endpapers browned, marginal tears to pp.303/304, 305/306 and 307/308 only just touching last letter of text, a few spots to closed pages occasionally encroaching onto margins, there are a few light spots to text block. Brown illustrated cloth, gilt title to spine slightly dulled, minor wear to corner tips and top and tail of spine, a couple of spots to rear cover. Scarce. G+.

Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
