It first appeared in 'Words 4'. Tessa Lund grew up in the Drakensburg Mountains of South Africa. She came to England to study at the Central School of Art, and later read Philosophy and Pschology at Oxford. For seven years she ran a hill farm on the remoter fields of County Durham.
