Each volume, of 96 un-numbered pages, measures 1280mm x 295mm tall (11" x 11.75" approx,] with a total of 496 superb b/w photographs, many full-page, chiefly of traction engines but also including other steam vehicles such as lorries, tractors and wagons. Some tea (?) splashes to covers and one cup-ring, and spines rubbed, otherwise sound, each as issued in its respective pastel-shaded, b/w photo-illustrated laminated flexible card cover. Complete sets are uncommon.
