Contains sixty-nine 1950s Karfeld photographs of a wide variety of German scenes, including such towns as Munich, Nurnberg, Ulm, Wurzburg, Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Rothenburg, Heidelberg, Mains, Cologne, Frankfurt, Emden and Hamburg, with pictures of the Black Forest, the Moselle and Rhine districts and the Bavarian Alps. Also included are Germans in colourful costumes, castles and homes of historic interest, and more. The front flap calls for only sixty-eight photographs, but two quick countings by your obedient bookseller indicate that there are sixty-nine. Many are tipped-in, others are full page. Blue cloth w/gilt lettering to cover and spine, 109 pages. Light off-setting to end-papers, faint vertical crease to front free end paper, light general wear, in dust jacket w/impressions/scratches, several edge tears of varying lengths (from minute through to one jagged bugger that's almost three inches long), general wear. Dust jacket now in protective mylar sleeve. Very Good/Fair.
