Bernard. L'offrande de Madame la Baronne Burdett-Coutts 1877', library stamp on title, brown half calf on raised bands and with corners decorated with gilt lining, slight rubbing, gilt edges. Very fine copy. ¶ An attractive copy of this scarce book on the microscope and microscopy. A description of microscopes "Technique du microscope" (p. 1-194) is followed by sections on applications to human histology, to botany, and to zoology.
