Some foxing and browning but neat, tight and clean. Deals with discoveries of the English in America: Cabot, Drake, Raleigh, Capt Davis, Mr.Hore's attempt to establish a colony at Newfoundland, other settlements at Virginia, Plymouth, Bermuda, Maryland, Jamaica, Carolinas, New York, Providence etc. One of the most interesting volumes on America in this series of early childrens book on exploration with all the charming required plates.
