Square octavo (8x6.5") cloth spined pictorial boards (restored in one corner/damage to paper & board of fore-edge) [18]pp. All endpapers with pictorial adverts for soap, medicine, baby food etc. Prize inscription from St. Marks' National Infant School to Willie Entwislte for attention to Religious Instruction. *Part of the Old Corner Series. The artist was a regular cartoonist, contributed to Punch, Ally Soper, Boys' Own Paper etc. and is amusing & collectable (cf. Houfe, Dictionary of British Book Illustrators).
