USA, TIME-LIFE Publishers 1949 Profusely illustrated, many in colour . Volume II, "Their Finest Hour" in 6 Issues of LIFE: 7, 14, 21 & 28 February 1949 & 7 & 14 March 1949 (along with all the other features & reports of those issues incl. Communist Trials in Eastern Europe, Cardinal Mindszenty, Race Riots in South Africa, Communists occupy Peiping; every issue with extensive illustrated film-review, theatre, art etc.) All magazines in good condition, but showing their age and some slight wear, one or two leaves split at cenrefolds (without any loss of text or picture). These six feature-articles differ from the printed book in that the LIFE version is illustrated and extensively annotated with historical background information from the TIME-LIFE team of writers and editors.
