The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography and black-and-white illustrations. Beige coloured cloth covered boards with blue/gray colour titles to the front panel and backstrip. A book that was first published in 1936 dealing with the various forms of embroidery, giving examples and instructions on how to do all. Softening to the backstrip with bumping to the top book corners with rubbing and fraying of the book corners. Staining and grubby marks to the book panels with browning of the textblock edges and light browning of the pages. Some bumping to the top book edge.
