Original boards, sewn binding, red page ridges. An extensive collection of recipes, self-published by the author in the late 19th century. This collection is notable for a section on preparing food for the sick. It also includes early examples of recipes for ice cream which, though it existed for quite some time at this point, was just beginning to see increased popularity due to the invention of the ice cream sundae, and greater availability of refrigeration equipment. A scarce volume - only 3 located in OCLC.

If you would like your order shipped within the United States, most orders will cost $4.50 for media mail (1-3 weeks), or $6.99 for priority (3-7 days).
