A social history of seafaring focusing on the East Coast of colonial and early national US, particularly Salem, Massachusetts. Drawing on records of seamen from the area, the work chronicles life for sailors setting out on the Atlantic Ocean. VERY GOOD condition. Minor soiling, rubbing and edgewear to the jacket, with a few small, faint stains to the rear panel. Some fading to the book along the extremities. Very Good/Very Good.

We will ship the book upon receipt of payment.
We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. This is subject to change based on country being shipped to or size of book, so please contact to confirm rate.

We accept Paypal, cashier's check or money order (they must be drawn on US funds). Credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
