Text is in French-language. 188 pp. hundreds of photos, quarto format softcover in white card covers with a photo of the author on the front. The author was, at the time of the writing, a graded 5th Dan in Iaido by Master Morihiro Okada, as well as a 6th dan Renshi in Battodo. This first book of his includes an introduction, and shows the first 10 formal Kata, or forms, of Master Okada's Iaido. INSCRIBED by author on the front free endpaper to a "fervent pratiquant" of Iaido. Laid in are a number of interesting related items: Two-page letter from Mr. Renier is signed with his Hanko, or seal stamp as well (real signature and stamp, not printed). Also half a dozen other cards, promo sheets and pamphlets related to his dojo etc. The book is in Fine condition, with very light wear to tips, one tiny corner crease. Very rare item. Fine.
