Tokyo: Akira Ikeda Gallery, 1988. 1988. - Quarto [10-5/8 inches high by 8-5/8 inches wide], softcover bound in printed cream wrappers. There is some light soiling to the rear wrap. Unpaginated. 5 full-page color illustrations, textual illustrations in color & a black-and-white photographic portrait of the artist. Although the text is printed the correct way around, the color plates were printed upside down, as published. Near fine.

Catalog for an exhibition held at the Akira Ikeda Gallery, Tokyo from February 8 to 27, 1988. The introductory essay by John Caldwell, "Baselitz in the Seventies: Representation and Abstraction", is printed in English and Japanese.
