Single issue of this long running journal devoted to African-American news, culture and entertainment. Jet was noted for its documentation of the Civil Rights movement and the murder of Emmett Till. This issue with a cover depicting a Harriet Tubman stamp, with news on law and justice, entertainment, music, politics, sports, etc. GOOD condition. Mailing label on the front cover. From the collection of Zelma George, who served as an advisor to President Eisenhower's administration, an alternate delegate to the UN General Assembly, and served on the executive council of the American Society of African Culture, among various other roles. General toning, minor soiling, scuffing and wrinkling. Some scuffing and curling along the extremities. Handwritten date on the front cover. Good .

We will ship the book upon receipt of payment.
We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. This is subject to change based on country being shipped to or size of book, so please contact to confirm rate.

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
