INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 1862 - Season Ticket and Notepaper.

Great International Exhibition, 1862. 45 x 85 mm. and 180 x 115 mm. the ticket printed with the rules on the verso. The exhibition was held in specially constructed buildings in South Kensington on the site now occupied by the Natural History Museum. Following its closure Parliament declined the offer to buy the building and it was demolished, the materials used for the construction of Alexandra Palace.
