The book is in clean red boards bumped to the spine ends and corners, writing on the front endpaper (Southend Sunday School: 1949, Hamish Taylor), slightly foxed endpapers, unmarked pages a little tanned and foxed to the text-block edges. The dustwrapper is rubbed to all the edges and flap folds, creased to the edges with small closed tears and small losses to the spine ends and tips - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve.
