'Strafford' was the first of three plays that Browning wrote, and was produced at Covent Garden in 1837.. G : in good condition without dust jacket in green cloth inner folder and with green cloth slipcase with leather spine. Minor staining to slipcase due to water damage.Tear to front cover and minor shelfwear. Prelims lightly foxed and with previous owner's bookplates. Additional bookplate to pastedown of cloth inner folder. Contents otherwise clean and tight .

Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.
