Long article on p. 1 of the war-mongering behavior of dissenters in the South who want to bring more Africans as slaves into the "Gulf states". "Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, and, perhaps, North Carolina have no desire to increase their slave population". Front-page, 4th column news of "Halninger, a negro man, was executed for the muder of his wife" (Harrisburg). Very Good.
