Full dark green leather-covered boards with blindstamping on the front and rear panels and gilt stamping on the spine and gilt edges. Brief wear at the tips, darkened at the extremities, binding shaken, 19th-century bookplate, a removed sticker on the front pastedown, an ink scribble on the front endpaper. The illustrations (Rouen Cathedral, City and Bridge of Dresden, Antwerp's Cathedral Tower, the Roman Column at Igel, etc) are all present although only one retains its tissue guard.
