Hard Cover, owner's signature in pencil on ffep, otherwise the slightly aged textblock is clean and tight with an occasional sign of foxing; end papers are the original glazed, muted brown; the faded, worn cloth is a finely random-grained design, characteristic of the time; only the spine has gilt titling. overall the binding has moderate wear with frayed spine extremities & corners; 281pp; including table of lessons. Good.
