Antique map of Alcmaer published by Petrus Kaerius (1571-1646, Pieter van den Keere). Total: 310 x 380 mm.Two visible folds in the middle. Some minor smudges on the top and bottom outside the print and in the right below corner a small tear, further in good condition.On the left the printed authograph of Petrus Kaerius and the date 1603 with the text: Alcmaer vermaert, leyt wel bewaer, rondt-om met Meeren seer playsant (...).In the right corner text in Latin and the number 50. In the right and left top corner the Dutch lion and a castle tower of the coat of arms of Alkmaar (stadswapen Alkmaar).
