Norman Colin Dexter, OBE, (born 29 September 1930) is an English crime writer known for his Inspector Morse novels, which were written between 1975 and 1999 and adapted as a television series from 1987 to 2000. 'Service of All the Dead' is the fourth novel in the Inspector Morse series. In a blue cloth binding in an unclipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, smart with just minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is smart with just minor edgewear. There are some minor chips and closed tears to the extremities.
