With the illustrated bookplate of William J Jenkins to front pastedown. 'The Green Hills of Earth' is from the future history series of Heinlein's work. It originally appeared in 'The Saturday Evening Post' before being published in book form. The plot follows 'Noisy' Rhysling, a blind space-going songwriter whose poetical abilities rival Rudyard Kipling's. The story concerns the composition of the song, 'The Green Hills of Earth&apos. Robert A Heinlein was an American science-fiction writer. He was an influential writer and somewhat controversial to the genre of science-fiction in his time. He was one of the first science-fiction authors to break into mainstream magazines such as 'The Saturday Evening Post' and was some of the best selling science-fiction novelists for decades. Just some very minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is generally smart with some chipping to the extremities and small loss due to chipping to the head of spine.
