London, John Baskett, 1715. Leather. A lovely little old book of common prayer dating from the early eighteenth-century. With an engraved frontispiece and numerous plates throughout. Together with the psalter or psalms of David, pointed as they are to be sung or said in churches. In reversed calf binding. Externally, lightly rubbed, with wear to extremities, and loss to the spine. Both hinges are strained. Internally some leaves working slightly loose, and frontispiece detached. Intermittently bright, and generally clean, with a little scattered spotting. Some paper repairs. Very Good . Ill.: Unknown. Very Good .
