With a copperplate inscription to title page, dated 1861. This work provides great insight into the history, politics and administration of the East India Company. In a long-grain morocco binding. Externally, a trifle worn, most notable to corners and head of spine. Slight splitting to front joint; backstrip is lifting slightly.
