The author of this work is unknown, it states to title page that it is the author of The Mystic Cottager, Observant Pedestrian, Montrose, Splendid Follies etc. In half calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally, heavily rubbed to the spines and to the extremities. Small worm holes to the front joint to volume I. Loss to the Head and tail of spines to both volumes due to rubbing. Loss to paper covered boards due to rubbing patches. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned. Spotting throughout both volumes, heavier to the first and last few pages. Closed tear to page 128-9 to volume I. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
