None Stated, [no publishing information], c1828. Leather. A personal manuscript, watermarked 1828. This appears to be a collection of poems, stories and letters. There is one colour illustration of a butterfly. The manuscript is written in fine 19th Century calligraphy. There is an ink inscription of 'Elizabeth Nelson' to the verso of front free-end paper. Some of the pages are blank, and of varying colours. In a calf leather binding with gilt detail and marbled paper boards. Edges of the leaves are gilt. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Internally, generally firmly bound with marbled end-papers. Pages are generally bright and clean. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: None.
