A detailed and interesting copy of Edward Cressy's history of Discoveries and Inventions of the Twentieth Century, written on request by Routledge as a continuation of Robert Routledge's Nineteeth Century edition. Set in a beautiful armorial school prize binding from the presigious Dulwich College dated 1936 and awarded to a J.R. Jammadge. Includes a frontispiece and plates, illustrations and diagrams throughout. In a gilt half calf armorial binding with cloth boards. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed and faded in places.
