Bookplate of Primitive Methodist Sabbath School Great Gonerby dated 1900. Some fingering, dusting and stains but no tears or scibbles. *Stories of rejection or poverty, often as related to their admission to the Children's Home, boy's left for a "few hours" but never seeing the mother again, or given to someone to work for them, living on the street and brought to the home when near stravation etc.
