Square octavo red pictorial cloth (spine and edges quite faded/some spotting and marking/tips sl.worn/spine bit cocked but quite sound) 286pp+(2pp) neat inscription to free endpaper. A glue? Stain runs along the gutter for 2.5" and along the lower margin for 1.5" a few other minor signs of use but no tears, no child coloring or marking and full of lovely Appleton illustrations.
