Small octavo greenish gilt & decorated cloth (tips worn/sp.rubbed and cloth sl.bubbled away from boards) 124pp prize inscription dated 1912 to back of frontis. *Story of a youngster carried away by gipsies and found by an old maid and brought up, joins the army and is killed at the Charge of the Light Brigade just as he has finally been identified by his real family.
