One engraving full page by N van der Meer with all important people from Leiden city and their coat of arms: Cornelis Schout, Johan van der Marck, Diderik van Leyden, Nicolaas van de Velde, Jacob Pla, Coenraad Teding van Berkhout, Jacob Heyns, Michiel Pompe van Slingeland, Jan Hubrecht, Adriaan Crucius, Cornelis Speelman, Maarten Marcus, Theodorus Schrevelius, Jan van Royen, Ysbrand van Dam, Daniel van Alphen, Andreas Cunaeus. Titlepage in red and black ink. With the Leidse sleutels on the front.Full leather bindings with some wear, especially on the spines. The third volume is not alike the first two volumes. Volume II has some foxing (see photo's). Interior in good order, clean and crisp pages. Lacking the engravings.[NL] Mooi werk met de volledige geschiedenis van Leiden.
