These volumes are testament to the enormity of the collection that was held at the Buckinghamshire estate. The house and collection were sold in 1919 and was subsequently split up. Contains an illustrative plate to both volumes of William Henry Miller, the owner of the collection. Featuring prior owner's ink inscription to the front free endpaper. In cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound. Minor rubbing to extremities and backstrip. Internally, firmly bound.
