 1554866722,
London, Westland Aircraft Ltd. 1965. Cloth. A collection of typed and handwritten notes on helicopters. Illustrated with many coloured diagrams throughout. Including notes on engine assembly, engine controls, flying controls, fuel system, hoist system, and many others. 'These notes are for instructional purposes only. It is emphasised therefore that owing to periodical revision of torque loadings, lives, overhaul periods and general maintenance procedure the appropriate Manuals, Service Bulletins and Service Information Circulars must be used when servicing the aircraft.' Westland Aircraft was a British aircraft manufacturer located in Yeovil in Somerset. Formed as a separate company by separation from Petters Ltd just before the start of the Second World War, Westland had been building aircraft since 1915. After the war the company focused on helicopters, and was merged with several other British firms to create Westland Helicopters in 1961. In a paper-binding. Externally, sound, though with some creasing and marks. Internally, generally firmly bound, though a few pages are detached. Pages are bright, though with some scattered instances of foxing, and pencilled annotations throughout. Good . Ill.: None. Good/Very Good Indeed.
