Unamed, Unamed, c1900. Cloth. A charming late Victorian scrapbook featuring a large collection of plates by a variety of important artist of the period. Featuring pasted in coloured, and black and white book plates portraying various famous Victorian paintings. Including Crossing the Brook by J. M. W. Turner, My First Sermon by Sir John Everett Millais, The Duke of Wellington with his Grandchildren by Robert Thorburn, and Shaftsbury or Lost and Found by W. MacDuff. H. Swain, account book maker and binders label to the rear endpaper, listed number 701 of their news cuttings books. In original cloth binding with hand written label. Externally, sound with light bumping and minor marks to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound but with a few plates yet to be pasted in. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed .
