Charles Gibbon was a 19th Century British novelist and biographer who published over thirty works, including 'Robin Gray', 'The Dead Heart', and 'For Lack of Gold&apos. He also edited 'The Casquet of Literature', and wrote a biography about George Combe. Half-bound in vellum with an attractive, colourful print which is continued on the edge. Generally smart, lightly rubbed in certain spots. Internally, Binding loosening in places. Pages 295-298 disbound but complete.
