N/A, Oeniponte typis Wagnerianis, 1884. Leather. A religious text on the order of the Capuchins, continuing a work first published between 1740 and 1752. Illustrated with 3 black and white woodcuts. Latin text. The Order of Friars Minor Capuchin is an order of friars within the Catholic Church, among the chief offshoots of the Franciscans. Leather bound with gilt lettering to spine and cloth covered boards. The front and rear inner hinges are strained but holding. There is some wear to the extremities, including some chipping to the spine and leather corners. The corners are also bumped and the boards have some water staining. The cloth to the rear board is becoming detached at the edge, and the front outer hinge is cracked. Internally the book is clean and bright apart from some isolated spotting and handling marks. There is a Franciscan library ink stamp to the front blank end paper, and the number 10 in ink to the front blank end paper and title page. There is a small amount of water damage to the front and rear coloured end papers only. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
