Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent and Co. Ltd. 1898. Used - Good. SIGNED copy Good hardback . Undated but author's signature on title page and owner's inscription on front free endpaper both dated 1898; tightly bound in slightly discoloured green cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine; letters on spine dulled; a little wear to edges and corners. Page fore-edges untrimmed and darkened. Internally, the majority of pages are yellowed with discolouration marks but text is still clear. A photo of the author had been stuck to the verso of the front free endpaper (and labelled as such) but this is no longer present; there is a small hole in the page where a mounting corner was removed.
