Dust jackets of vol. 4 price-clipped; others not price-clipped; all with a little wear at spine heads/feet and slightly yellowed spines. Red cloth bright on all volumes with gilt lettering on spines. A tiny bit of foxing on endpapers around hinges and on page fore-edge but internally bright. Bindings tight. Volume 1: The Birth of Britain - owner's name on front pastedown and stamp on front free endpaper; tiny creased tear/scratch in rear panel of dust jacket; small dent in lower rear board near spine foot. Volume 2: The New World - a few tiny spots of foxing on front of dust jacket. Volume 3: The Age of Revolution - owner's name on front pastedown.
