Undated but perhaps 1955 1st edition with B&W illustrations and colour frontispiece; binding tight with faded edges; wear, tear and tiny losses to edges and corners of dust jacket; page fore-edges tanned; pages yellowed, especially at edges, with a few discolouration marks; otherwise, a good, tidy copy.
