VG hardback in Good dust jacket 1st edition. 1938 1st edition with numerous B&W illustrations and colour frontispiece; tightly bound in orange cloth with blue lettering to front and spine. Dust jacket not price-clipped; a little wear and tear to top and base of spine - reinforced on inside by brown tape; spine slightly discoloured. pale foxing to page fore-edges. Internally, yellowing to endpapers; a few discolouration spots to other pages; errata slip tipped in; half title has a neatly stuck in picture and a date stamp. Otherwise, a clean, tidy copy.
