Good hardback in Good dust jacket 1st edition. 1929 1st edition with B&W illustrations by Ethel Everett; tightly bound in green cloth with brown lettering to front and spine; spine has patchy yellow discolouration (also hints of this starting in other places); orange discolouration spots to bottom edges. Dust jacket has wear, tear and discolouration, especially to spine; protected by removable clear film. Page fore-edges yellowed with scattered foxing. Internally, a little scattered foxing to outer pages and just a few small discolouration spots to other pages; otherwise, a good, readable copy.
