Half calf with marbled paper boards and endpapers; gilt lettering and tooling on spine; five raised bands. Edge wear and some scuffs and tiny surface losses to boards. Both hinges cracked and repaired. Armorial bookplate on front pastedown. Loosely inserted is a letter from Henry T Butlin, father of head & neck surgery.
