W. Collins Sons, 1920. Used - Acceptable. Fair hardback in red cloth . Copyright dated 1920, but no edition stated. Possibly 1st edition. A reading copy only. Red cloth quite worn and darkened with small stains. Blind lettering on front board; black lettering on spine. Damage to spine head & foot. Lacks front free endpaper. Scratched out owner's name on front pastedown, with date of 1922 there as well as on browned half-title page. Stains and wear at both hinges, although binding tight. Spots of foxing near front of book; pp. 48-49 browned by something inserted, but most text clean. Page fore-edge softened and a little grubby.
