Cream cloth with gilt detailing on front boards and spine. Cloth discoloured on edges and spine; gilt remains bright. Previous owner's name inked onto both front end papers; Scattered foxing present; rough cut edges browned. Text remains bright & clear; original tissue guard on vol. 1. Paper dust jackets rather tatty with chips, short tears and loss around spines. Jackets protected in removable clear film.
