Lindman, Maj, - Snipp, Snapp, Snurr, and the Red Shoes.

Chicago, Albert Whitman & Co, 1938. 5th ptg. Fair. This story of three little Swedish boys has been a favorite with American children for a number of years but up to the. present time there has been no adaptation in English. Once these picture story books have been read to a group of four or five year old it is worn threadbare by constant contact with young readers. This is the case with this much-loved copy. There are crayonings, smudges, and soil, and the paste down pictorial cover is much worn at the edges as is the tan binding. Last blank endpaper removed. The pictures are gay, simple and childlike. This pleasant little story holds the interest of children throughout and is one of the few stories in which children actually do something for someone.
