Boston, Houghton Mifflin, 1989. 1st ptg. VG in VG DJ. Dodge started a small electronics company in a garage, built it into a multi-million dollar business which he sold to finance. the boat that would carry him around the world. Promise was almost wrecked in a hurricane before getting started, but he finally sailed out of Portland Harbor to cheers. Ten days later it limped into Bermuda. Patched it set sail again with $20 borrowed to pay his fuel bill.
